Already recognized as an artist to be watched, Baritone Keith Harris has performed with such companies as Seattle Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Opera Theater of Saint Louis, Nevada Opera, and NOISE. Recent engagements have included (Athanael) in Thais with the Opera Theater St. Louis, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte and Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte with Seattle Opera's Young Artist Program as well as Sid in La Fanciulla del West with Seattle Opera.

Equally at home on the concert, recital, and opera stages, Mr. Harris' repertoire consists of roles such as Dandini in La Cenerentola, Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, Malatesta in Don Pasquale, the title role in Billy Budd, andconcert roles in Elijah, Carmina Burana, Messiah, Bach's Magnificat, the Mozart and Faure's Requiem, among others. An active recitalist, Mr. Harris has performed more than 40 recitals and often collaborates with pianist Lisa Bergman.

He won first place in the Regional Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions held in Seattle in March 2003 and competed in the national semi-finals in New York City . Mr. Harris was named Opera Longview's ( Texas ) "Young Artist of the Year" for 2002, was a winner in the 2001 Ellen Faull Gordon Vocal Competition in Portland OR , and was a finalist in the 2004 Eleanor Lieber Awards at Portland Opera.

As a 1998 winner of the Ladies Musical Club of Seattle Competition/Tour Mr. Harris performed more than ten recitals throughout the state of Washington . This recital tour included an appearance on Live By George (KING FM 98.1). He is a two-time winner in the Civic Opera Competition and has won career grants from the Mary Levine Foundation and the Seattle Opera Guild.

Mr. Harris moved to Seattle after completing a Bachelor of Music Degree at Lawrence University in Wisconsin to pursue a Master of Music Degree at the University of Washington where he was the sole recipient of the prestigious Brechemin Performance Scholarship in 1998. Mr. Harris completed his Master of Music degree in June of 2000. While in Wisconsin he was a four-time winner of the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) competition, and received the NATS Performance Scholarship.
