Ron Wohl
is General Director and a founder of Skagit Opera and has ten years of experience in production of opera and dramatic and musical theater. His singing credentials include Doctor Bartolo in our Marriage of Figaro, King Balthazar (twice) in Amahl and the Night Vistors, Don Basilio in our Barber of Seville, The Major General in our
Pirates of Penzance, Ko-Ko in our Mikado and The Learned
Judge in our Trial by Jury. He is a member of the Seattle Opera
Supplementary Chorus and sang in their August 2003 production of Wagner’s Parsifal and
in Götterdämmerung
in 2005. He performed the
roles of Gorgibus and The Magistrate in the VocalArts Northwest Production
of Pasatieri's Signor Deluso at
Benaroya Hall in October, 2003 and with
Skagit Opera
in May 2004. He has also sang principal roles on stage with Bellevue
Opera, Theater Arts Guild, Anacortes
Community Theatre, The North West Children’s Theatre, as well as
performing in the chorus with the Skagit Valley Chorale, the Skagit
Symphony and the Fidalgo Youth Symphony.
He lives in Mount Vernon with his wife, Darcie Morris. |
