Savannah Fuentes began her flamenco
studies 13 years ago in Seattle with Ana Montes. She continued in
Madrid at the "Amor de Dios" Institute,
studying with such artists as Cristobal Reyes, Belen Maya, and
Yolanda Heredia among others. In 2003 she traveled to the
"Albuquerque Flamenco Institute" to study with Joaquin Grilo and
Mercedes Ruiz. For the past 7 years Savannah has studied and continues to
study with Maestra Sara de Luis in Seattle. In 2004 Savannah formed "Amorfo
Flamenco" with fellow dancer Veronica Barrera and performed
throughout Washington State. She is now the artistic director of her own
company, "Savannah Fuentes Flamenco," which has recently been
awarded a position on The King County 4culture Touring Artists' Roster for
2007-2008. |
