Scott Rittenhouse, tenor, graduated from Western Washington University with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Vocal Performance. He sang in our Messiah for three years and played The Defendant, Nanki-Poo and Frederic in our Trial by Jury, Mikado and Pirates of Penzance, respectively. He sang with the Seattle Opera Chorus in Verdi’s Don Carlo and Wagner’s Lohengrin. He has performed lead roles with the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society and recently performed the role or Paquillo in La Perichole, a final tribute to Hans Wolf at Town Hall in Seattle. He is the band and general music teacher at Jefferson Elementary in Mount Vernon, and the choir director at Salem Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon. He was the vocal and chorus director for Skagit Opera's Mikado and Pirates of Penzance productions. |
