A Montana native, Soprano Megan Chenovick came to the Northwest to pursue her B.A. in Music & Theatre with the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma , WA .  Getting her start in musical theatre, Megan has caught the opera bug and is thrilled to be a part of Skagit Opera’s Marriage of Figaro. Megan has performed throughout the Puget Sound with Village Theatre, Civic Light Opera, Re-Act, Secondstory Repertory, Seattle G&S, Tacoma Opera & Lyric Opera Northwest.  Favorite roles include Frasquita in Carmen with Lyric Opera Northwest, Linda Cole Porter in Red, Hot & Cole with Civic Light Opera, and The Bakers Wife in Into the Woods.  Megan is a 2006 Michael Mitchell Memorial Scholarship award winner and is actively studying with Erich Parce.
